Why invest in education for women?
  1. 12 years of education for every girl would reduce child marriage worldwide by 64%
  2. For every additional year of schooling a girl completes, infant mortality rates would decrease by 5-10%
  3. If all girls received 12 years of education, the rate of premature births would be reduced by 59% and infant mortality would be reduced by 49%
  4. Ensuring that all girls complete secondary education by 2030 could increase GDP in developing countries by an average of 10% over the next decade
  5. Educating girls is one of the most effective - and most underestimated - ways to mitigate climate change
